Wearing...a shirt that's thrifted from hk // a bag by rebecca minkoff // vintage loafers (tods) // a vintage louis vuitton belt from mum // a velvet skirt made by me // a watch from guess.

A few days ago, I went to the Picasso exhibition in hong kong. Me and my sister went really early (10am) to attempt to avoid large crowds...however, turned out we weren't the only ones who were thinking of doing that! There were tons of people, including a few teachers from my school (eeeeeeek), families,  a few (noisy/irritating!) primary schools to add to the list. Then again...it was PICASSO, and...his works don't often come to hong kong...Can't blame them nicole! <---yeah, talking to myself thurr.

My outfit...was pretty pleaty/ruffley-chill that day. Originally, i was going to wear heels, but let's just say I'm glad I didn't since after the exhibition, me and nat went to argyle street and sha tin to S.H.O.P! I found a few nice pieces. Most happily, nat showed me a really cool hong kong shop called Chapel and they sell the most raaaaaad jewelry there for decent prices. Go check em out if you want to shop for cool jewelry in sweet packaging. Not literally, but you know what I mean :)

Have an amazing summer!

Edge of glory madness

Sun glasses: h&m // bag: vintage coach // necklace and studded shirt: diy by me // loafers: vintage tods // socks: paul frank! // skirt: from aunt.

Only a few days till the summer holidays start! After school, I felt "creative" enough to do a shot of an outfit I would wear. This shirt is one of my most recent diys, and I'm loving the result! I want to wear it everywhere whether it's at home, or going out! It's just so comfortable and carries off a rocker, "effortless" style vibe. Here, I paired it with a flowy white chiffon skirt to show the contrast between edgy and elegant n soft. Also....do you like my paul frank socks and sunnies? I think they're wild and cute!

Have a great summery week all!

Summer In a Garden

Dress - Made by me // Shoes - Vincci // Bag - Kotur // Watch - Guess

Hi!! Just wanted to put this post up before dozing off. This dress is one of the first ever dresses I have successfully made and designed, I even incorporated a beautiful technique called english smocking which makes this piece unique. Ahh...what a summery feeling these photos have,  this is perhaps my favourite location of shooting by far! Being surrounded by nature is really great and beautiful, however, it has its negative sides including getting constantly bitten by mosquitoes.

Summer will begin in a few days. Whoop!?

Shoppers stop for lunch: The Villandry

Villandry @ Bicestor Village uk

Righhht! Back to my food posts :P
During my london trip back in easter, I stopped by bicestor village and shopped at mainly, Cath Kidston and Emma Bridgewater outlets! Looking back, I still remember how rainy and miserable the weather was in the morning! By the time lunch hit, the weather clapped into a perfectly sunny/windy type of climate. It was great, really.

For late lunch, I just had a steak sandwich with an extra portion of fries + mayo. I didn't know they charged extra for the fries when the waiter asked if I wanted any! sneakyyyy. Anyway despite that, I thought the chips were yummy with the mayo. Because of this, I now want to eat my chips with mayo/tartar sauce. It's an amaaaazing combination!! My mum had the prawn spaghetti, and looked really nice as well and she did say it was pretty good.

Have a good week!

Erin Fetherston Resort 2013

Collage composed by me, originally from erin fetherston: via elle.com

Was looking through different designers' resort 2013 collections and stumbled across one of my faveee designers, erin fetherston. I love her designs because they are so elegant, wearable, and clean cut.
The simplicity and cleanliness of this collection is spot on, perfect circle skirts/dresses. My favourite pieces would have to be relaxed polka dot chiffon dress, and the turquoise dress above it. Her pieces varied from day-time girly chic, to party-ready. + The headband adds such a cute n whimsical touch! Great styling.

Regent's Park

leather jacket: nic janik // bag: club monaco // shirt // jeans: salt // shoes: steve madden // hat: f21 mens

Decided to take a break from posting a whole load of food porn here and here. I like the contrast in these photos of my dark and basic outfit, with the bright and springy background of regent's park. Sadly, I had no time to feed the ducks (you must do so if you have the chance!) so instead I just took....pictures..

so yeah, hope you like this!
