My favourite outfit of my stay in London so far! I love pairing different textures like the chiffon with the leather and knits, just so appealing to me. A way of self satisfaction. Tomorrow I start off with an early morning of university induction, so here goes my last post before that!
The Cross boutique is located in such a lovely place in London called holland park. Because it was a sunday "early" afternoon, not many shops were open (including a famous vintage shop, name is at the tip of my tongue, arrgh! It'll come to me!) and not many people were around. Thus me and my mum were surprised to find The Cross open.
Once we went in we were able to see the stationary and other lifestyle products. Then, I noticed that there were stairs leading us downstairs for more, only to find that it was all clothes and shoes, mm! The clothes were an absolute standout for me, created by various designers around the world with subtly quirky taste, I wanted to buy loads! Especially their velvet pieces, so gorgeous.
The reason I wanted to point out the boutique was that it was part of my research during my internship at Hong Kong based fashion label, Daydream Nation. It got me so excited to see the real thing, and I have to say, DN's clothes would definitely fit in this boutique.
